A small farm of 20 acres (and 14 acres leased for forage harvest), we raise sheep (lamb for local customers), perennial nursery stock for their retail nursery, two varieties of kiwifruit, seven varieties of Asian pears, apples, berries, small round bale haylage and honey as bee keepers. The farm and nursery are both certified organic through the WSDA Organic Certification Program, farm #1340. The nursery is the first certified organic nursery in Washington state. All perennial nursery stock is raised on-site via cuttings. We our proud of our display gardens which show case deer resistant, non-deer resistant and drought resistant plantings. Our grass fed lamb is available by the whole (via local, custom processing) or by the cut via IGFC (Island Grown Farmers Cooperative) depending upon any given year.Besides distribution of our fruit and lamb crops at our on farm site we also do some wholesale distribution to off island food cooperatives and retail outlets.
